The Vashon Promise articulates the five-year educational roadmap for our school system from 2022-2027. More than 80 Vashon Island School District stakeholders participated actively in its development, between Setember 2021 and January 2022.
Our strategic plan reflects our district’s commitment to Equity as Equilazation of Opportunity and Equal Results. It guarantees that each student is able to access all educational opportunities and meet all educational outcomes. The plan supports individualized learning experiences, interrupts patterns and pratices that create disparities in achievement, and ensures high levels of success, in every way, for every student.
