How to Add Money to Food Services Accounts

Families are no longer able to add money to their students' food services accounts via Skyward. That process has been consolidated into our payment processing service, InTouch.

To add money to your student's food services account or to pay fines/fees, please click the "Pay Meals and Fees" button on our District Website and log in with your Skyward credentials. Full directions here.

Please note: It takes approximately 24-48 hours for the transaction to reflect in available funds.

We are also aware of an issue in which families were able to track student food services purchases via Skyward. We are currently investigating the issue and hope to have it resolved soon.

Free and Reduced Applications

As we open the year, it is important to make sure that all families who are available to receive free and reduced benefits have completed, hand-signed, and returned their 2025-26 application and consent to share forms.

These forms can be returned to the office of each school. If you have questions, please contact Tory Gateman at tgateman@vashonsd.org or 206-463-8528.

King County Public Health on Vashon Island

Representatives from King County Public Health will be on the island to help individuals sign up for health insurance, Orca Lift, food stamps, and other benefits. These sessions will be held at the Vashon Library.
