Migration Overview

This past year, the Vashon Island School District has been gearing up to transition to a new student information systems called Skyward Qmlativ. Qmlativ is a cloud-based platform that manages student records and provides a more intuitive, efficient, and secure experience for staff, students, and families. While some of the workflows may look different, the system is built to make everyday tasks simpler and faster.

This change will allow us to work more efficiently, access real-time data, and better support students in their academic journeys. Qmlativ offers powerful reporting and analytics, improved reporting tools, and a user-friendly interface tailored to each role, including counselors, teachers, and administrators. Training, sandbox practice, and ongoing support will be provided to help everyone feel confident in using the new system. Nothing is lost from Skyward—all student data will transfer seamlessly.
