New Families

We are excited to welcome your student to the Vashon Island School District! Families can enroll their child by completing our online registration process. The process will take approximately 20-30 minutes. You can save as you go and do not need to complete it in one sitting. If you do not have access to a computer, stop by any of our schools for assistance in enrolling.

Before starting the registration process, please have these documents ready:

• Proof of name, such as a birth certificate, military identification, passport, state-issued identification, or adoption decree.
• Address verification that proves residency on Vashon Island
• Immunication records from a hospital or clinic, records printed from a state immunization database, or a Certificate of Immunization Status form. The state of Washington requires proof of up-to-date immunizations for all enrolled students (RCW 28A.210.080).

Returning Families

If you are a current VISD family and are enrolling additional children at Chautauqua Elementary, please do so via the CES Enrollment Form. If you are enrolling additional children at McMurray or Vashon High, you may do so via Skyward Family Access.

Interdistrict Agreement Request

If your student will be dually enrolled in another school district, please fill out and return the Interdistrict Agreement Form.
