I recently moved to Vashon after 10 years living in the Bay Area in California. Our family spent significant time and energy looking for a place with deep community, strong schools, an arts scene, and opportunities for outdoor adventure. We feel so blessed to be on Vashon.

I am excited to create a classroom where young children of all abilities can be creative, learn to be good friends to one another, and become inquisitive learners. I have been working with young children with special needs and their families for 15 years as an Early Interventionist and Program Supervisor and as a guest lecturer at at Mills College’s Early Childhood Program. I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education and a Master’s in Recreation and Leisure Studies. Outside of school I enjoy hiking, gardening, kayaking, and adventuring with my husband and two children.
