I love coffee. I also love animals. These are the two things that students first learn about me. You should also know that I have lived on Vashon for more than 30 years. My husband and I have raised our daughter and our countless rescue animals here. I have been fortunate enough to work at Chautauqua for the past 12 years, in a variety of grade levels. I have called 4th grade home for 5 of those years. While I enjoy teaching all subjects I have a particular fondness for math. There are so many children and adults out there who have not had great experiences in their math education and I want to change that. My other dream is for all shelter animals to find a forever home.
