I am very excited to be teaching Humanities at McMurray. I have a BA in Russian and a BS in Marketing from Miami University in Ohio. After college, I worked in advertising for the Marriott hotels of Moscow. In 2002, I returned to graduate school and received an MA in Russian History from Northern Illinois University as well as earning my teacher crediential. I have taught a variety of Social Studies course from American Government to Women's Studies though most of my experience is teaching AP World History. For the past 15 years, I have spent my summers working as the Asst Dean of Concordia's Russian Language Village running the Intensive Russian High School Summer Immersion Program. I love to travel and adventure.  When I am not actually traveling, I enjoy cooking recipes from all over the world.
