Ms. Christine Fostering (Browning)

I grew up in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon and attended Sunset High School in the Beaverton School District. As a student in high school, I participated in cross country, track, choir, and Spanish. I then completed my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics at Washington State University with a second major in Spanish and Latin American studies. In college I volunteered and worked on the Student Entertainment Board and also worked as the Educational Manager at Clinique in “The Bookie” at WSU. I decided to continue my education at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling to complete a Masters of Arts in Teaching Mathematics. This is my eighth year at VHS and I couldn’t be happier to be teaching! Outside of school, my favorite things to do are reading, gardening, yoga and backpacking. My husband, Jordan, teaches Biology and Environmental Science at VHS. We have a mini Australian shepard named Redford and a pomeranian named Charlie.
