FamilyLink
FamilyLink is a choice program for students, mostly K-8, whose primary educator is a parent. Teacher, student and parent meet monthly to celebrate and support the learning that’s been happening and make a plan for the coming month. We are especially focused on the development of literacy and math skills while keeping the love of learning alive by encouraging students to study what they are curious about.
Though most of our students’ learning happens at home, FamilyLink offers multi-age and intergenerational workshops for learning in community. This year’s offerings included Fitness and Stretching, Art, Civics, Kindness Seminar, Novel Writing, Farm and Forest, Choir, Circuitry Games, Social Justice Sewing Circle, and Shakespeare.
