Some of my earliest memories are of doing art with my mom. She helped me see the world through the lens of a artist and find beauty around me.

I earned a BFA in art from California College of Arts and Crafts and received my teaching certificate from City University in Seattle.

My husband, a Vashon native, and I moved to the Island to raise our kids in 1997.  I began teaching kindergarten at CES when my youngest child entered school.  After teaching kindergarten for 9 years the art positon opened up and I jumped at the chance to share my passion for art with your children.
