• Student Placement Process

    At Chautauqua we take student placement very seriously.  The process begins in early Spring and is reviewed several times before being finalized.  Your current classroom teacher works with the other same grade-level teachers to carefully consider friendships, learning environment, the child's approach to learning and many other factors to place your child in the best possible class for the next school year.
     
    In early August your teacher placement information will be available in Skyward Family Access.  For families without any internet access, please contact our office and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

    Once logged in to Skyward Family Access and on your selected student, you can find the teacher information under the Schedule tab located on the left sidebar. If you see that the “schedule” is blank, your child has not yet been placed and we are working on that and will get you teacher information by mid-August.
