Four Ways to Get Your Hands on a Good Book
1 - LITTLE FREE LIBRARIES AT McM and VHS
You will find a Little Free Library in front of McMurray Middle School and Vashon High School. Help yourself to a good book or more than one. There are books for all ages, and I will be restocking the bookshelves several times a week. (Books have been sanitized, and hand sanitizer is provided next to each bookshelf to use prior to browsing for books.)
2 - SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUBS
You can also order books from Ms. Gregorich's classroom book club. During this time, Scholastic will mail your book(s) directly to your home for free!
Here are the steps for ordering a book from the book club. (Note: You do not need to be a student of Ms. Gregorich's to take advantage of this opportunity.)
Steps for Ordering Online:
1.) Click on this link: https://orders.scholastic.com/RD6XN
2.) There is a scroll down menu at the top of the page that reads Grade and Age. Using this option and finding your grade level will probably be one of the best ways to browse for books.
3.) You can click on a book and scroll down to the bottom of the page for a description of the book.
4.) If the website asks you to connect this order to a classroom teacher, enter Gregorich. If you are asked for a classroom code, enter: RD6XN.
5.) When you proceed to checkout, find a place to enter your home address.
6.) Have fun shopping and, more importantly, reading!
3 - MOBILE LIBRARIES
Check out the mobile libraries put together by CES librarian, Kathleen Lawrence, on the school buses that are delivering breakfasts and lunches.
4 - CONTACT MS. GREGORICH
Contact Ms. Gregorich (at email@example.com) to request the free delivery or mailing of a book(s).
