Sixth-grade humanities integrates learning in language arts with the study of geography, archaeology, anthropology and ancient civilizations. Language Arts studies are often linked with the social studies curriculum and run concurrently to those explorations.

We'll start at the beginning with the fundamentals of riding, bike safety as it applies to trail riding, basic bike mechanics, bike handling skills, trail maintenance and building, and lots and lots of riding here on campus and occasionally on the State Lands trail system on Center Forest.
Students in this class will practice building shelters, making fire, plant identification, and first aid. They will be taught the importance of material preparedness.
