Thankfully a fresh voice found its way into hip hop. We’ve been deprived of new talent for far too long.

Kid Cudi brings an alternative type of urban music to the mainstream with his debut album Kid Cudi, ‘Man on the Moon: The End of Day’. A relaxing, dark, rider music theme oozes from most tracks, my favorites being “Pursuit of Happiness”, “Alive”, and “Hyyerr.”
The album counters its personality with a couple of upbeat youthful tracks such as “Up Up & Away”, “Make Her Say”, and “Enter Galactic”.
With featured artists including Ratatat, MGMT, Common and Kanye West, styles are combined to create tunes that are guaranteed to bob heads.
