Class schedules and registration deadlines are emailed to our general mailing list. Classes are also posted on our Calendar. If you would like to be added to our general mailing list, please call 463-9171 ext. 503.
Resource Library and Computer LabOur library has a collection of textbooks, literature, curriculum samples for parents, reference materials, manipulatives and a small computer lab. Most items are available for check-out, although some reference materials and curriculum samples have to be viewed at the library, which is located at the FamilyLink building. The library is usually open to families during our regular office hours, 9-4 Monday-Friday. Check-out Policy: Three items can be checked out for three weeks at a time. To borrow materials, simply write your name, phone number and date on the library card inside the book and put it in the box at the check-out station. Our computer lab has seven desktop computers. All have MS Office and are connected to the internet. Some computers have PhotoShop Elements, Inspiration and Timeliner.
Website & Community ConnectionIn addition to our website, we send out a weekly bulletin called Community Connection that lists activities and events happening on Vashon, as well as at FamilyLink. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, call 463-9171 ext 503.
Testing and AssessmentIn the spring, fully enrolled 10th grade students take the High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE); students in grades 3-8 take the Measurement of Student Progress (MSP).. Part-time students, who have a Declaration of Intent on file, are not required to take these tests.
